
Jordan Daily – The government has estimated the cost of building the Hussein bin Abdullah II International Stadium at JD 200 million , as part of the new Amra City project.
The 50,000-seat stadium will anchor a 1,000-dunum sports city and is expected to be completed within four years. It was announced on Nov. 29, 2025, under a quality-of-life initiative in the government’s 2026–2029 executive programme.
The Government noted tenders for preliminary works will be launched in the first half of 2026. The wider Amra City project includes an Olympic city, multi-sport venues, racetracks and commercial facilities, with a focus on sustainability and advanced broadcasting technologies.
