Jordan Daily – Jordan advanced six spots to rank 44th globally and seventh in the Arab world in the 2025 Global Digital Competitiveness Index, according to Fadi Qutaishat, Chairman of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j).
Qutaishat who is also the President of Globitel Networks, said the achievement reflects the vision of King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al Hussein in driving digital transformation and positioning Jordan as a regional technology hub. He noted that the progress aligns with the Economic Modernization Vision and the efforts of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, alongside the National Council for Future Technology and other public and private partners.
He highlighted in press remarks seen by Jordan Daily, improvements in education, research, digital skills, and technological infrastructure, attributing them to strong collaboration between government and industry.
int@j, he added continues to support Jordanian tech firms, enhance competitiveness, and provide reliable digital sector data to policymakers. Sustaining this momentum, Qutaishat said, requires continued investment in innovation, digital education, and infrastructure to build a knowledge-based economy led by Jordanian youth.
