Jordan Daily – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, calling it an important step toward enhancing security and stability in the region.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Dr. Sufian Qudah expressed the Kingdom’s support for the agreement and emphasized the importance of resolving crises through diplomatic means and adherence to the principles of good neighborly relations.
Qudah reiterated Jordan’s backing of all diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving disputes peacefully, praising both India and Pakistan for reaching the ceasefire agreement, prioritizing dialogue, and exercising restraint.
He said the move contributes to regional and international peace and security, and supports the pursuit of a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
