Jordan Daily- The Government said on Tuesday it had taken note of a statement issued by the U.S. Departments of State and Treasury regarding the designation of the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon as terrorist organisations.
Government spokesperson and Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani said in a statement that the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan has been legally dissolved for several years, a status confirmed by a court ruling issued in 2020. He added that all of the group’s activities were formally banned in April 2025.
Momani said Jordan handles all such matters in line with the country’s high national interests and in accordance with the constitution and the law.
