Omani foreign minister arrives in Ramallah
Jordan Daily – The Foreign Minister of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, arrived today in Palestine.
The Minister, who arrived at the headquarters of the Palestinian presidency in the city of Ramallah on board a Jordanian helicopter, was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad al-Maliki, and the Diplomatic Advisor to the President, Majdi al-Khaldi.
During his visit, Minister Al Busaidi is set to hold a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The purpose of the meeting is to convey a message from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman which will focus on bilateral relations between the two countries and explore ways to strengthen them further. It will also reiterate Oman’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.
