Thailand implements new visa measures, 60-day exemption for 93 countries including Jordan

Jordan Daily – The Royal Thai Embassy in Amman announced the implementation of new entry visa measures effective today. These measures include:

  1. Visa exemption for 60 days for travelers from 93 countries and territories, including Jordan.
  2. Visa on arrival for visitors from 31 countries and territories.
  3. Introduction of the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV).
  4. Launch of the Non-ED PLUS visa.

H.E Mr. Supark Prongthura, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, noted in remarks sent to the Jordan Daily , that the new entry visa measures represent an important part of the Government of Thailand’s efforts to stimulate tourism and economy, as well as to welcome visitors from across the globe, especially all friendly Jordanian , as this visa scheme will help deepen the bonds between Thailand and Jordan, especially at the people to people level.

The Ambassador of Thailand wishes to invite visitors from various groups in Jordan to travel to Thailand to experience and explore firsthand many of Thailand’s amazing destinations. “We, the Thai people, anxiously await to welcome you all to our Kingdom.”
