Jordan Daily – UN-Habitat Jordan showcased its efforts to localize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during a scientific day hosted by the Jordan Engineers Association on the role of urban observatories in sustainable development.
Lina Nasreddin, UN-Habitat Urban Programme Officer, underscored the value of local urban observatories in tracking SDG progress and guiding evidence-based planning.
She highlighted UN-Habitat’s support for municipalities in data collection, capacity-building, and developing Voluntary Local and National Reviews to enhance transparency and advance Jordan’s commitment to the 2030 Agenda.
