Jordan Daily – The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), in collaboration with several countries, including Brunei, conducted seven airdrops of essential food supplies into the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to a statement released by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The humanitarian operation, aimed at supporting Palestinians and mitigating the effects of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza, involved two C-130 aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, an aircraft from Egypt, three from the United States, and one from Belgium.
The JAF confirmed its continued commitment to delivering aid via an air bridge, supplying Gazans with humanitarian and medical supplies. This includes flights from Marka Airport to Egypt’s El Arish International Airport, airdrops over the Strip, and land aid convoys.
The statement emphasized that this initiative is part of Jordan’s sustained efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians in the besieged strip and support them amidst the challenging circumstances imposed by the Israeli war on Gaza since October 7.
To date, the JAF has conducted 42 airdrops since the onset of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, in addition to 54 airdrops carried out in partnership with 10 other countries.
