Jordan Daily – A bilateral agreement allowing visa-free travel between Russia and Jordan entered into force on Saturday, easing entry requirements for citizens of both countries.
The agreement was signed in Moscow on Aug. 20, 2025, by Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
Under the agreement, Russian citizens may enter Jordan without a visa and stay for up to 30 consecutive days per visit, with a maximum of 90 days in any 12-month period. The arrangement does not permit employment, business activities, study or permanent residence in Jordan.
The same conditions apply to Jordanian citizens travelling to Russia, according to the terms of the agreement.
