Jordan Daily- A deep low-pressure system and a severe cold air mass affected the Kingdom on Tuesday, causing a sharp drop in temperatures, the meteorological department said.
Very cold, cloudy and rainy conditions prevailed across northern and central regions, with limited rainfall in eastern and southwestern areas. Heavy rain fell at times, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail.
The department warned of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, poor visibility due to fog and low clouds, strong winds and dust storms.
Slightly warmer but very cold conditions are expected on Wednesday, with diminishing rain chances.
