Trade between Jordan and EU reaches JD2.997 billion in 2024

Jordan Daily – Jordan’s exports to the European Union (EU) grew by the end of November 2024, reaching JD386 million ($544 million), up from JD383 million in the same period of 2023, marking a 0.8% increase.

According to official statistical data, Jordan’s imports from the EU fell to JD2.611 billion by the end of November 2024, down from JD2.673 billion in the same period of 2023, reflecting a 2.3% decline.

As a result, Jordan’s trade deficit with the EU narrowed to JD2.225 billion by the end of November 2024, compared with JD2.290 billion for the same period in 2023.

Total trade volume between Jordan and the EU amounted to JD2.997 billion by the end of November 2024, slightly lower than the JD3.056 billion recorded in the same period of 2023.

The Netherlands topped the list of EU countries importing Jordanian goods, with exports reaching JD80 million by November 2024, compared with JD73 million during the same period in 2023, a 9.6% increase.

Meanwhile, France remained Jordan’s largest source of imports from the EU, with Jordanian imports from France totaling JD250 million for the same period, down 3.5% from JD259 million in 2023.
