Jordan Daily – Jordan’s electricity load reached 4,070 megawatts (mw) on Monday evening, the highest level recorded in the current winter season, the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) said.
The previous winter peak was 4,015 mw, while the highest electricity load ever recorded in the kingdom was 4,220 mw in August, NEPCO said in a statement.
Jordan relies mainly on imported natural gas and oil products to generate electricity.
